well mark, looks like you've been hit with the spammer comment plague as I was. if you turn on "word verification" on blogger, they won't be able to do this (at the expense of a little more trouble for commenters like me). I did.
I've been thinking this all day, all week. We only have how we act. God, help me to live up those ideals. To act with grace when I'm being squashed by the hand of fate. Help me not to be repulsed by other people's needs, even when I hate the way they're expressing it, with guns and ignorance. I've probably said too much.
mark, thanks for the phone message the other day. how's things? julie and i head out for israel and turkey on friday--a tour with ray vanderlaan. brian mclaren is coming to town while we're gone. i'm sad i'm going to miss him.
