Sprint just a little longer

I'm Spring customer and I'm often having to apologize to my friends for all the dropped calls when I hit dead zones around town. I'm on my third Sprint phone and will be moving to a new carrier in November. (I hope. It's what I want for my birthday.) Anyway, it seems my phone is officially dead and I don't want to re up with Sprint.
Does anyone have an old Sprint phone lying around the house that they'd be willing to send me? I'd be happy to reimburse you for the shipping! And I can send it back when I'm done.

Thanks!

I don't have a phone, but I do have a suggestion: when I last looked into such things, I was told that the chip on a phone could be "flashed" from one carrier to another, and that the folks who do cell phone repair could do this to just about any phone. If true, this would make it possible for any used phone to work for you, and probably for a very nominal cost. Or possibly one of the cell phone repair places will have a used Sprint phone at a reasonable price. The worst that could happen is that you could waste a phone call finding out for sure.

Mark, my phone recently died and I had 3 months to go on my contract. The lady at the ATT store didn't have anything to sell me for less than $150, but she suggested I go to Wal-Mart and get a Go Phone for $15. That's what I did. I bought an AT&T Go Phone at Target for $15, took the SIM card out of my worn out phone, and put it in the Go Phone. Turned the new phone on, and I was instantly in business. By far, the best $15 I spent this summer. Good Luck!
