Craig Ferguson

Go here. Click on Feb 19th and listen. This is great stuff. It's like (and I'm not saying he is) he's using his platform (where the monologue and the half funny jokes go) to talk to Britney Spears, but without talking to her... He is definitely looking toward the restoration of people. I appreciate that. You will be better for watching this.

Wow! Kudos to him for using his monologue time to say something meaningful. Isn't it amazing how we(and I stress we, not they), tend to make fun and point fingers for our own amusement, many times without much thought. We separate ourselves from celebrity to the point that they no longer seem real, and it is a great reminder that a microphone and a tv camera doesn't make someone deserve less dignity.

Mark,
This monologue by Ferguson is sheer genius. He's able to speak with clarity from his own story. Thanks for the link.
